BIOGRAPHY

With over 33 years of experience in the Silicon Valley real estate market, Denise brings a wealth of market knowledge, expertise and dedication to every transaction. Her journey in real estate began in 1990 as a part-time assistant for a top-producing Silicon Valley real estate broker. What began as a temporary job to support her college education quickly transformed into a lifelong passion and career. In a short span, Denise transitioned into a full-time role managing all facets of the real estate business that included managing escrow transactions, orchestrating buyer tours, preparing and marketing homes for sale, and most importantly, delivering an unparalleled level of customer service to clients. Ready for a higher calling, Denise obtained her real estate license in 2002, and armed with the extensive experience and knowledge acquired over the years working for top-producing brokers, she embarked on a direct role as a Realtor® working closely with buyers, sellers and investors to help them achieve their real estate goals and build long-term wealth.

EDUCATION

Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Media Relations and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology. Her educational background has shaped her dedication to fostering robust relationships and adopting a people-first approach in both real estate negotiations and client service.

I started my career in retail, managing stores and mentoring teams with the mindset that every customer deserved the same level of care and attention as a personal client. I’ve always believed that when people feel seen, heard, and supported, great things happen. That belief led to thriving teams and successful stores—and it’s something I’ve carried with me ever since.

Eventually, I moved into tech sales, where I wore a lot of hats in a growing startup environment. From leading enterprise deals to helping redesign our website and even building an entirely new business division, it was an exciting time of growth and learning. I sharpened my skills in negotiation, operations, and problem-solving—but what I found myself missing was the personal connection. The joy of helping people in a hands-on, meaningful way.

That’s what brought me to real estate. I’ve had a passion for homes and neighborhoods since before buying my own home in San Jose over a decade ago. I love the way real estate brings people together, and I truly enjoy helping others through such an important moment in their lives. Whether it’s a first home, a forever home, or an investment for the future, I’m here to offer not just expertise, but heart.

As the Marketing & Sales Coordinator at the Gridley Group in Silicon Valley, he leverages over 4 years of experience to keep the team's online presence vibrant and listings looking sharp.

On any given day, you'll find Jonathan juggling social media posts, web ads, email newsletters, and snazzy mailer designs. But his talents extend well beyond just the marketing realm. With a background as an electronics engineer, he also lends his meticulous eye to ensuring all listing presentations and transaction details are buttoned up.

In his spare time, Jonathan loves spending quality time with his family, including his two young boys. With his unique combination of technical chops and marketing savvy, he complements well with Gridley Group’s real estate experts.
